New business:

Attitude of Graditude

We had a guest speaker, Mrs. Puckett who came to share an idea for our student council to support called the Gratitude and Kindness program. This is a really neat way to for our school to encourage everyone to have a positive attitude. More will be shared with classes about how everyone at SPE can help promote an “attitude of gratitude”. Start thinking about what you are grateful for ….

Pennies

Got extra pennies at home? Student council challenges each student to bring in 5 pennies to our kick off for “Pennies for Peace.” We will be starting this program in December.

Games on Tuesday/Thursday

The games in the morning are not going to happen until after the book fair.

Does anyone have any other games they can donate? We could use a few more games. FYI Lego builders take note… the legos are back after the book fair.

Fourth grade representative Charlie Harrington brought to the student council a concern that tables are needed for stack cupping before school. It has been brought to the attention of the principals and the custodians to help find a solution. Stay tuned for a solution to come next week.

Mix It Up Day

Ms. Lynn came to student council to ask for help from 3rd grade representatives for  Mix it up day. It is Tuesday November 18th at 3rd grade lunch. Sit by someone new and meet new friends. Paws will be handed out during this lunch for kids participating.
